गुलों को कैसे तुमने, मुस्कुराना है सिखाया,
जहां भी जाती हो, तो साथ में गुलज़ार जाए,
बस एक तेरे सिवा, लायक नहीं कुछ देखने के,
जहां भी हो खड़ी, तुम पर नजर हर बार जाए,
How did you teach flowers how to smile,
It's like a garden follows you wherever you go,
There is nothing worth seeing, except you,
Wherever you're standing, my eyes falls over...
ना कोई पहले था ना बाद ही आयेगा तेरे,
किसी की कोशिशें इसमें बेशक बेकार जाए,
मगर मज़बूरियों के करवटों का क्या भरोसा,
तेरा हो के मगर ये जिंदगी बेज़ार जाए,
There was no one before you and won't be one as well, to whom I'm emotionally connected as such,
Efforts of others to get me are useless,
But no one knows tomorrow, what condition may occur,
Yet, it will be difficult for me to move on,
हां, तुमको देखने के बाद से मैं सोचता हूँ,
कि कैसे ये नज़र, तेरी नजर के पार जाए,
नहीं पाया तुम्हें लेकिन, तुम्हें खोने का डर है,
कि जैसे तुम चली जाओ, तो ये संसार जाए...
I've been figuring it out whole the time since I saw you,
How to ignore your eyes and look elsewhere,
Despite you're not mine, I fear of losing you,
It's like you mean the World to me...
कि जैसे तुम खड़ी हो, तो खुशी है साथ तेरे,
कि जैसे तुम नहीं हो, तो सभी त्यौहार जाए,
मेरे हक़ में है बस ये चाहना मेरी रहो तुम,
तेरे हक़ में है तू चाहे तो कर इनकार जाए,
It's like wherever you are, the happiness is around you,
And when you're not around, there's no festivities,
All I can do is wish that you accompany me throughout our lives,
But to reject the proposal is still in your hands...
मैं पहले देख लूँ तुमको, खुदा से मांग कर,
मुझे लौटा देना मैं, खुदा गर हार जाए,
मिलो जो तुम मुझे तो क्या बताऊं क्या मिलेगा,
वगरना इतना हो कि सिर्फ मेरा प्यार जाए...
Let me beg God first that I get you,
If God refuses, you will return me myself,
I can't describe the ecstasy in the moment when I'm with you,
Otherwise, only my love will lost and I won't love anyone anymore...
Composed to be a confession cum marriage proposal hint that requires the approval of God. Here in this poetry, God is used as a reference to Parents/Guardian. Despite one's willingness of tying knot with the other, it is necessary for the later to accept the former as life partner and that parents/guardian of both sides agree for this formation of new relation.
