Thinking about someone or lost in his imaginary world...

If you ask a one sided lover "What is the most beautiful thing in the world", most of them may answer their Crushes' names. But I deny this. Even for them, there is something more beautiful than their crushes. And that is the memories featuring them. It takes you to the next level of happiness.

ऐसा नहीं है कि कुछ भी नहीं तुमसे खूबसूरत,

एक तुम ही थोड़े हो, तुम्हारा खयाल भी है,

It's not that there is nothing as beautiful as you, 

You're not the most beautiful, but there are memories of you,

अभी तो ज़िक़्र भी नहीं किया कल्पनाओं का,

उनमें पागलपन तो है ही, और कमाल भी है,

I've not mentioned my imaginations till now,

They are full of craziness but adorable,

तुम से कहीं सुंदर है मेरी कल्पना जिनमें तुम हो,

उनमें तुम्हें अपना मान लेने का मजाल भी है,

My imaginations featuring you are far prettier than you,

Because I've considered you mine in them,

उनमें तुम मेरे हो, सो लगते हो और खूबसूरत,

ये जितना आसान है, उतना ही जंजाल भी है,

You're mine in them, so you look more beautiful and gorgeous,

The simpler it looks, the more complicated it is,

तुम से हैं तभी तो तुमसे हंसीं है कल्पनाएं,

तुम हो, तभी तो तुम्हारा खयाल भी है,

My imaginations are prettier than you because they belong to you,

They exist only because you do,

वरना और भी हैं कल्पनाएं तुमसे पहले की,

मगर बाद वाले खूबसूरती की मिसाल भी है,

Otherwise there were other imaginations before you,

But each one after I met you is a symbol of beauty,

ऐसे में ज़ाहिर है तुम्हारा खूबसूरत होना,

जिससे मेरे ख्वाबों की दुनिया विशाल भी है,

It is hence proved that you're also beautiful,

My imaginary world is bigger because of you,

मैं थोड़ा और पिघल जाता हूँ जब देखता हूँ,

कि तुम्हारी माँग मेरे नाम से लाल भी है,

I get melted even more when I see,

that you have applied vermilion of my name,

एक तरफ माँ से बताना बाकी है तेरे बारे में,

एक तरफ घरवाले तुम्हें पा के निहाल भी हैं,

I've not told anyone about you in real,

But in my imagination, my family is happy after getting you,

माँ तुम्हें "छोटको" कहती हैं मेरी कल्पना में,

अभी उसमें वक़्त कुछ महीने कुछ साल भी है,

My mom calls you "Chhotako" (younger daughter-in-law) in my imagination,

While there are months and years for this to be true,

वैसे तो मैं मान कर चल रहा हूँ तुम्हारी हाँ है,

पर क्या सच में हाँ है? तुमसे ये सवाल भी है...

I've supposed a 'Yes' from your side,

But "Is it really a 'Yes'?", is a question to you...

Imagination can be customised according to our happiness requirement. The reality may be different from expectations. But expectations are always in your favour. Expectations are the second name of imagination. Hence, imagination is more beautiful than reality.

Crush may get you angry on something unpleasant. But imagination never disappoints you. Your crush may hurt you, but not your imagination that features the same person. Her memories are prettier because it recalls you her face. And everytime you recall her face, you melt in yourself. Everytime you see her can't guarantee your happiness. Sometimes a changed look may disappoint you. But memories and imaginations and expectations are the actual support system that keeps your love alive even if you're far from her.
